Frank Carey
Frank Carey is a native Western New Yorker, who still lives within earshot of the Niagara Falls, in that fair city. After graduating from the University of Buffalo SILS, he worked at Duke University as a rare book "wrangler," then briefly at his alma mater as a cataloger. Leaving UB for the opportunity to automate the Daemen College Library, he has stayed there for fifteen years, in the meantime contributing at all stages to the realization of the RIC, and is currently the Assistant Head Librarian. In his spare time he plays the guitar.
George Emery
George has been involved in the planning and implementation of the Single Service Desk and the Library Learning Commons at Canisius College. He began working at the College in 1996 as the Library Systems Coordinator and became Associate Director for Access Services in 2000. Prior to that he worked in the Business Information Department at the Central Library of the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library and conducted technology training throughout the system. George has an MLS from the University at Buffalo and a BA in Communications from Temple University.
Maureen Lindstrom
Maureen Lindstrom is Associate Director for the Information Commons at the E. H. Butler Library, Buffalo State College.
Lisa Sullivan
Lisa Sullivan has worked at Canisius College since 2001. Presently she is a reference librarian and head of the Curriculum Center at Canisius College. For the last 4 years she has been actively participating in the Canisius College library’s transformation into a library commons. Prior to Canisius she worked as a school librarian, public librarian and as a social studies teacher. She has her M.L.S. degree from the University at Buffalo, a Master of education from Canisius College and has pursued graduate work in Anthropology at the University of Mississippi.
