To Tweet or Not To Tweet?
Twitter is a social networking and microblogging service that allows you to communicate with "followers" by sending short text messages called "tweets." If you are interested in learning more about this social phenomenon or just not certain where to begin, this is the workshop for you. Librarians from the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library will introduce twitter basics with an emphasis on Library twitter accounts. Participants will learn how to create and manage accounts. You’ll also learn how to incorporate pictures, videos and web links to maximize your twitter presence. You’ll learn twitter-etiquette and what makes a good tweet. Attend this workshop and find out why you want to “Follow Us” on twitter!
