Ask Us 24/7 Training Class
Sponsored By:WNYLRC
Ask Us 24/7 is New York State's virtual reference service, which is managed by WNYLRC. This training is open to the following:

-Anyone who is interested in learning more about the service and would like to try it out with some hands-on practice
-Current participants in Ask Us 24/7 who would like a refresher
-New librarians at our participating libraries who have not yet received formal training

At this training you'll learn how the service works, practice using QuestionPoint software to chat, and learn about best practices for virtual reference. Current participants will also have a chance to talk about their use of the service, share tips, and discuss any issues that concern them. You do not need to be a current participant in Ask Us 24/7 in order to attend! If you think you may be interested in joining this service in the future, this is a great way to learn more about it.
