Better Slide Presentations
CEUs Offered:.25
Using slide software, such as Microsoft PowerPoint, has become the de facto standard for just about every professional presentation today. Learn how to improve your slides so they stand out from the rest and keep your audience engaged and informed. The session will be divided into 2 parts. In Part 1: “How NOT to use Slide Presentations,” you’ll learn how to avoid some of the common presentation mistakes that can lead to audience confusion and boredom. In Part 2: “PowerPoint Alternatives,” you’ll be introduced to some free programs that can replace or enhance PowerPoint, such as Prezi, Google Presentations, and Zentation.

We are holding two identical sessions (one day, one evening), so you can choose which one works best for you.

Registration is limited to 15 people. If you find that you cannot attend, please cancel your registration so that another person may take your place. See directions here: http://wnylrcwatch.org/newsletter/?p=914
