Gadgets and Gear: A Tech Gathering

This conference will focus on portable and mobile gadgets, and how they can be used by libraries. In addition to our featured speakers, you’ll have the opportunity to see demonstrations and try out gadgets such as eBook readers, netbooks, and iPhones.

1:00 - Sue Polanka, Head of Reference and Instruction at Wright State University Libraries
1:50 - Intro to Gadget Expo
2:00 - Gadget Expo. You'll have a chance to watch demonstrations presented by WNYLRC committee members and try out a variety of mobile devices and gadgets.
3:00 - Gadget drawing. Expo continues.
4:00 - Conference ends.
