Consortial Opportunities

Consortial databases are offered at a consortial pricing level, when possible or, in the case of WorldCat on FirstSearch, are provided as a benefit to all WNYLRC members. RBDB grant funds help to subsidize this program. Although not all members may have access to every database, the Resource Sharing Committee (RSC) makes every attempt to ensure that each type of member library needs are addressed. However, in order for WNYLRC to continue to provide you with appropriate database access, we need your input. Please contact any member of the (RSC) to express your library's interest.

WNYLRC recognizes that our member libraries have differing needs in the interlibrary loan arena so we aid libraries who have less electronic access by assisting in providing a means into WorldCat on OCLC’s FirstSearch.
